Manifesting reaching a point of financial security (predictable income) with this collage of the outfit I do not need, but really want (to buy myself).
Decided I gotta write more in German again. 2 languages die every day on average, and while I don't think German is at risk just yet, I also believe there are things I can't express as well in English as in my mother tongue.
Even if, for the time being, most of it will happen in private.
I made it to the second round.
In the general process of applying places I also realized that the non-crypto companies are way more on top of not ghosting candidates.
Sure, so far I got a small sample size, but it does align with what I hear and read from others on the X feed ^^
I'm back on a Alain de Botton appreciation arc. I might be a romantic at heart, but I like to think a pragmatic one as I grew up with a healthy-ish role model (my parents) who have more recently started to be open with me about what it took to maintain this marriage for so long. (Lots of compromise, and work)
A perspective thoroughly lacking from the depictions of love stories all around us so... More people should watch his talk, and read his books.

I got my first interview with a non-crypto startup tmrw afternoon... wish me luck. It's the first time in probably 6 years that I am doing that process in German - which you'd think should be easy cause it's my mother tongue, but... for someone whose entire career has taken place 80% in English, it is still a bit daunting 🫠
Anyway, I'm tired of being 100% self-employed with super-fluctuating income and constant chasing clients who pay late (or never). Perhaps the time has come to stop being a degen with my livelihood 🤣
Trying to start writing a blog on a theme you're absolutely unexcited about, but you gotta pay bills.
Anyway, to make it more fun, I'm experimenting with using Ellipsus - it's nice to see small teams that are not Big Tech get into creating word editors that don't suck.

If you wanna get into love-maxxing as opposed to monitoring WW3 or smashing your bones to looks-maxx, here are three books to read.
The short version is: love is a verb, act accordingly.
One of my favorite German customs is coffee and cake so working on being a good host of such meetings.
Made a cheesecake and had the neighbours over. Sunday well spent.
They were super nice, and I'm getting a proper week shadowing the master with all the aspects that make up the job in July.
That's something. In the meantime I can learn more about optics, and explore other fields of interest outside of crypto
As part of falling out of love with crypto and exploring learning a real job... since many audiologists are in-house with opticians, I figured, I might as well hit those up too :'D
And well.. eye sight matters quite a bit to me too considering how much I read language, and score so - I got a casual chat with one next week.
He seemed slightly confused why someone with such a "international, digital" career would want to do hands-on work but I think that's exactly why. I mean the only things that'd happen if I advance in the current trajectory would be... constantly being in meetings.
Cause somehow that's what happens to all my friends in leadership positions ^^
Volunteered as a stage manager (opening and closing stage door and keeping an eye on the teens, ensure everyone knows when to go out etc) for the plucked string orchestras concert this weekend.
Earned myself a beautiful bouquet instead of relying on a guy to give me on 😂 (jokes aside, I didn't even expect one, it was a fun thing to support)
