great article by addy osmoni on balancing the amazing utility of AI vs remembering to train your coding skills without it.
thoughts:
I agree with the critical thinking and learning aspect, but not with the others. I think it's a decelerationist approach to using AI. Assuming in 5-10 years, AI becomes incredibly integrated in our life, why would we need to train arbitrary coding skills? They will become obsolete. 95% of coding is boilerplate and random stuff that you do not need to think about. The other 5% you need to deeply understand, and you can use AI to get you there.
giving yourself a day to code normally instead of with AI is like saying give yourself a day to code in assembly instead of with a high level programming language. It will only slow you down. Use AI everyday.

It's incredible how much the yuka app has changed my shopping behavior. I radically changed the products I buy the first time I used the app, and every time I visit the store, I use it to determine what to buy. Definitely understand why it's #1 on the app store
Updated frame to default to apple pay, and USDC on base.

I'd love to see a way to not pay the entire year's fee for a channel. Maybe pay per hour/day? Could open interesting avenues for more short-term channels. Also, I'm curious what happens conceptually if a person runs out of warps to pay a channel's fee?
Frieren Episode 8 today! Wanna hear other people's reactions on here!
Some of mine (*Spoilers*):
The choreography of the fights are simplistic, but it still had me geeking out. Both our new heroes showing how badass they are in their first true fight to the death.
Curious if people in here play competitive games still. Like League, Valorant, csgo, dota 2, etc.
If you do, what game do you play? Do you find it fun or mostly frustrating?
haven't seen much mention of this anime in here so figured I'd drop a rec here:
Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End (currently airing in the fall)
it's high fantasy (dragons, elves, magic) and about adventuring, but the uniqueness of the show is its themes of humanity🧵
