Growth happens when we begin to choose our own path, knowing that potholes will always exist. The difference lies in how we deal with them and what we learn as we move through them. Arrows can represent advice, rules, paths that have already been tested, or expectations placed by society.

This deck I’m using has something that only people who’ve been skating for years really understand: it doesn’t respond to the tricks I’m used to landing. It’s not about adaptation or anything like that, it’s simply a deck made specifically for nollie.
In regular stance it doesn’t perform, nor in switch or fakie, and that automatically creates the effect of learning new nollie tricks.
Understanding decks is essential. These are things that only time on a skateboard can teach. 🤘🤘🤘
