especially the search. closing the search screen requires tapping then X **inside** the search input, which is usually reserved for clearing the input.
confusing and felt stuck the first few times i tapped.
this cast had more engagement than i was expecting.
really good to know design and UX is still a part of the conversation.
either that, or it's a bear market indicator. we always revisit UX when there's no more money to be made 😂
i still don’t understand why people make the distinction between “crypto ux” and like normal ux or whatever.
no one talks about “short-term rental ux” or “rideshare ux” or “email ux”
you just anticipate needs and eliminate as much friction to achieve them as you can.

today, crypto UX is almost up to par with most consumer apps we use every day.
on par isn't enough.
i'm a firm believer that blockchain has the potential to make the experience online even better than today's consumer apps.
there's no need to create a new account ever again when you can port your data and identity across apps.
apps will know your preferences the instant you connect. you can make a change once, and it will apply everywhere.
you can buy anything, anywhere, with any token when payments are native.
you'll never need to complete a checkout form or enter your payment details when you can bring your wallet everywhere.
you can't do any of this without blockchain.
for 2 years i posted daily concepts that explored how blockchain can be more useful and usable.
they challenged the status quo of crypto ux and pushed the space to create more human-centered interfaces.
it started in the feed and lived onchain. now, you can browse, search and filter.
