Good morning from Los Angeles

One of my all time favorite photos of the Griffith observatory. The ethereal fog was seeping over the hill while being lit by the lights of the observatory. We call this cloudfall and it’s the only time I’ve captured it here.

The LAX pylons have been an iconic staple for the past 25 years which have been removed as part of a modernization project. Being able to capture them as they no longer stand is special to me. Being able to document them during a Kobe Bryant tribute along with a spectacular sunset sealed the deal. Look forward to the re-design of it all.

Lunar eclipse vs. Solar eclipse A solar eclipse occurs when the Moon passes between the Sun and Earth, casting a shadow on Earth and blocking the Sun. A lunar eclipse happens when Earth passes between the Sun and Moon, casting a shadow on the Moon. I set an alarm and ended up in Malibu for todays early mornings lunar eclipse. Focused on some wide angle shots that I will post once I get edited. Did you get to see it?

Set your alarm for the total lunar eclipse that will be visible in the US in the early am hours. Best time for those of us on pacific time will be 3/3 at 3:33am. Don’t forget to also take in the partial phases as they are also cool to see. No special equipment needed other than being able to drag yourself out of bed. Do you plan on seeing it?

All the rain has transformed the hills into a blanket of green. A hint of spring with remnants of winter make Los Angeles come alive

With the wind down of creator rewards here, going to go all in on X and try to hit the 5M impression min to start monitizing. 1 week in and I’m 1/5 of the way there. A bit of viral images, a bit of rage baiting and some nonsense keeps the engagement up. Will post here now and again but my time will mostly shift there to try and hit that impression goal.
