I spent a bit too long this evening thinking about how to use the word ameliorate in a cast. I didn't want to fall into the trap of using such a formal word in a casual setting--talking about ameliorating the effects of the crypto bear market or falling coin prices. I didn't want to fall into the trap of writing a cast with suitable use by talking about ameliorating hunger, poverty, or war on Farcaster and sounding like a bambiesque pageant contestant in the final round of Miss America. So, rather than contribute to a flurry of casts that just slightly miss the mark on the Word of the Day, I decided to improve the timeline by simply taking you through my thought process and mitigate any possible negative effects to such a great mini app. And to all a good night...
