Didn’t catch the games last night but saw a few highlights. Not many people talk about it but I love a good “comeback” story. Victor Lindelöf, he was a giant in our Swedish defense during World Cup 2018 where we reached quarterfinals. He didn’t have a good tenure at United, but who does? He was reliable and never made any noise. I’m very happy seeing him doing so well at Villa now and seem like Emery is really seeing the potential of him once paired in the right system. And looks basically nailed in Villa. Such an underrated player and intelligent on the ball. @chukwukaosakwe something for your recaps 🤩

If anybody wonder what I've been working on the past 1,5 month I think Matchday is something that can bring some casual fun to this community once the testers have ironed out some bugs and we balance out the game.

⚽️ Matchday Alpha is live Matchday is a multiplayer football strategy board game where you manage a club, grow your finances, and battle other managers on the pitch. Turn-based gameplay. Roll, move, buy stadiums, upgrade them, play matches, use tactical cards, survive scandals, and chase trophies. You win by: – Reaching 20 trophies – Having the most trophies after 20 turns – Or being the last manager not bankrupt Every player gets a unique manager role (Investor, Tactician, Fan Leader, etc.) that changes how you play. Matches are decided by dice + squad power. Stadiums generate rent and can bankrupt rivals. The market can Boom / Crash / stay Normal, affecting all income. First wave of players is whitelisted from people who played FML. Whitelisted users can invite guests to their games so others can try it — guest progress won’t be saved. Slowly getting there, matchday is a football board game with some twist and turns.

3pm and the sun goes down, at least we’ve gotten two days with sun this December 😅

It’s a weird tradition in a Swedish town called Gävle, every year they build a giant goat made of straw that they put on the town square. But it’s also been a tradition to burn it down 😅. People have been creative and shot flammable arrows to the creators drenching it in anti flammable but since the video below it has survived every year until this year. This year it didn’t burn down but due to heavy wind it fell over (I guess this counts) Need a prediction market for this for next year. Some backstory here, it’s quite hilarious.

It's something I feel truly remarkable about prediction markets. We saw it during US elections and several times more, it's a social play that is unlike any news outlet I've ever seen.
