i'm not a policy-pusher, but i would love to see Apple crack down on notification granularity. binary, OS-level toggle is provably and totally insufficient
i realize i am in this very cast but i sincerely believe farcaster would be better if people would just use farcaster instead of talking about how or why we should use farcaster. it's not that deep
these proportions surprised me.
on a bowling-ball-sized Earth:
- volume of all oceans = about 1 teaspoon
- thickness of the whole atmosphere = about a credit-card-thin shell
- breathable/weather layer = about a sheet of paper
reddit has predictably entered the ipo -> enshittification pipeline. they are now disguising text ads as comments, and drastically compromised comment UX by adding "continue this thread" and "show more" links everywhere
