Office update... i am (still) largely working solo from my one-person cell on W 28th Street, but today's news is that a two-person AI startup moved into the shoebox across the hall, and they get to high-five each other every time something good happens. So far today they have done 4 high-fives and 1 chest bump. ngl this is bringing me far more FOMO than OpenClaw

literally while the world is crashing and burning around us... the neighbors on my block still find the LITERAL tiniest things to complain to me about Just got this email: "A notice was pinned in my vestibule regarding help during the storm. The pin left a small hole in the wall. Next time a notice is posted, can something else be used rather than a pin?"

you guys i just had claude code do a deep analysis on 5 closed lost deals in my sales pipeline and the feedback is SAVAGE they say that AI is too sycophantic. but turns out when you tell it to grow a backbone for you, it can really step up and deliver

Week 2 of my AI studio class Got 4.5 hours to see if I could teach a group of City College students how to think with AI in service of another entrepreneur’s business challenge An exhausting and exhilarating afternoon. Everyone built a Gemini Gem to coach them through their project work and then a Replit app that visualized a dataset from NYC Open Data We will see what happens… 😬

so i'm teaching a course at City College called AI Studio where I coach students to solve real entrepreneurial problems with AI tools last week i found out there's a seeing impaired student in class. he pulled me aside after to ask for the slides in advance so he could read them on his own. i said: "but what else would make my site more accessible to you? he said: "inverted colors. bigger fonts. and comic sans font" in about 5 minutes i was able to create an entirely specialized view of the curriculum, completely to spec 😭 😭 😭 this is what accessibility in technology looks like. how freaking cool
