Sad to read this tbh. Second to the people, the frames/mini app dev + distribution experience has been my favorite thing about Farcaster FAFO. It was a joy to see how easily people could connect their wallets and transact with stuff with mini app middleware. It was truly magic. Going back to "standard web apps with wallets" sounds like a step backwards. I was rooting for every web3 app to become a mini app because i hate having to deal with chrome extensions, wallet browsers, wallet switching/conflicts, etc. I like when stuff just works and having opinionated frameworks is how you make things just work.
