So I was at a punk rawk show, cuz one of my favourite bands reunited for a few concerts after 15 years of silence. And let me tell you something...
This was really the best gig i've ever been to.
Not a single teenager in sight, only the old school grownups around their late 30's early 40's supporting their childhood idols and showing them kids how to do proper slam.
Not a single mobile screen in front of your eyes cuz people came to have fun, not to make videos. Well sometimes some one took out their phone to collect a short memory, but it's entirely different from the younger generation gigs where people stay still and record the full show.
The music i grow up with came with that nostalgia feeling and so all the people in the crowd were singing along and circle-pitting non-stop for 2 hours straight. Felt like all the people around me were my brothers and sisters, positivity was over the top.
It's like i teleported 20 years back where everything is good. Also got a vinyl signed by the frontman 🔥
Question to grownups in their late 30's — do you feel like today is better times than it was 25 years ago, or is it like you think that now everything is screwed and actually the nineties were the best
