At this point, the UK is no better than Russia. Have you heard of the Filton 24? Twenty four anti-genocide activists have been imprisoned for over a year without trial (!!!!) after breaking into an Israeli weapons factory in Bristol. Their “crime” - damaging weapons intended for use in the genocide of Palestinians in Gaza. They are political prisoners of the UK, jailed by a state acting out of its deep complicity in Israel’s genocidal campaign. By the time their trial finally comes, most will have spent two years behind bars. What an absolute shame!!! The UK Government is going after those that take action against a genocide - rather than trying to prevent a genocide.
