It would make absolute sense for Replit, Cursor, Windsurf to develop a “Sponsored Missions” program where businesses will fund/reward builders who ship apps curated for a specific vertical or solving a specific problem. Technically, its a combination of Hackathons + Bounties + Y Combinator.
Imagine for example a “Spotify program” rewarding builders who ship apps about fan engagement, new multimedia experiences, IP remix etc The looser the specs, the better.
It’s a type of a perfect flywheel where code-gen platforms have a new revenue stream, builders can monetize their ideas fast and businesses can outsource innovation.
I acknowledge that maybe it’s an “old man yells at cloud” type of thing but I still don’t understand how the @zora hyper-financialized UX is better/healthier/long term sustainable VS the simple “collect” button of @rodeodotclub
It’s been almost a year since I opened the @warpcast app and I have to admit that the progress on the user navigation/experience/stickiness is amazing. Completely different (and better) vibes.

Question i have been thinking a lot about: could the success of Frames convert social networks in active vs passive experiences alienating users with overcommercialization?
