The Base–Solana Bridge is now live on mainnet — a major step toward a more open, connected, and interoperable onchain world. Secured by Chainlink CCIP together with Coinbase, this new bridge allows builders on Base to support Solana assets directly in their apps, and enables users to trade and use SOL and other Solana tokens seamlessly on Base. It reflects Base’s core belief in being a bridge, not an island — making it effortless for people to move assets at internet speed, explore apps across ecosystems, and unlock value wherever it exists.

With integrations rolling out across platforms like Zora, Aerodrome, Virtuals, Flaunch, and Relay, users will be able to bridge and trade assets such as SOL, CHILLHOUSE, TRENCHER, and more. For builders, the bridge is fully open-source on GitHub, offering a simple path to support cross-chain assets and deliver smooth, unified experiences.

This launch marks an important milestone in Base’s mission to become a hub for the “everything economy,” where every asset on any network is accessible to everyone — and Solana is just the beginning.
