Romania just blacklisted Polymarket.

ONJN (the National Office for Gambling) has officially labeled it an unlicensed gambling platform, not just an "event-trading" service. The move comes after reports that over $600M in crypto-based bets were placed around Romania's elections. Latin American crypto exchange Ripio, with over 25 million users, has launched wARS, a stablecoin pegged to the Argentine peso.

The token is live on Ethereum, Base, and World Chain, enabling global transfers without banks or USD conversion. Ripio plans to issue similar stablecoins for other Latin American currencies to boost regional cross-border payments.

Zcash creator ECC unveils Q4 2025 roadmap as privacy token's price and shielded supply surge.

Electric Coin Co. (ECC), which created privacy coin Zcash and develops the network’s Zashi wallet, has unveiled its roadmap for the fourth quarter of 2025. The roadmap calls for increased usage of temporary addresses to improve private swaps, along with quality-of-life fixes for Keystone hardware wallet users. Zcash’s supply and price have both ballooned in recent months, as users seek private transactions powered by zero-knowledge proofs.
