The Whispering Willow
Untitled
Aug 25
A lonely willow bends by the silent stream, Its branches tracing patterns in the moon’s soft gleam. It whispers tales of travelers from ages past, Of love that forever was meant to last. One evening, a painter with weary eyes sat near, Capturing the tree as the stars appeared. He brushed its sorrow, its grace, and gentle sway, And found his own heart healing in the display. Now the painting hangs where few will ever see, But the willow still whispers by the water, free.
