The need for belonging and the need for speculation come together like bread and butter in meme coins. But also, how sustainable are they ?
Meme coins are only fun when they go up. Can they keep going up forever ? Or will the bubble burst, like with all other previous trends, like ICOs, NFTs, etc ?
What taste in the mouth will it leave to thousands of newbies getting their feet in the cold water of crypto ? What image does it provide for normies ?
And finally, what type of impact does it have on our health to be constantly checking our screens to see wether in many cases our entire life savings have gone up or down 10% ?
Anyways, I'm sorry for asking you all this questions. I'm just trying to make the point that maybe, as much as we all love meme coins, they just aren't good for our health, but also not for the health of the crypto ecosystem.
