The SFC announced that all new applicants for a virtual asset trading platform licence can apply for the licence in accordance with the SFC's expeditious licensing procedures. The new licensing approach requires applicants for virtual asset trading platforms to implement internal policies, procedures, systems and controls, and then conduct an external evaluation of the measures.
