Barcelona’s Champions League night in Belgium ended in frustration as they were held to a dramatic 3–3 draw by Club Brugge. What was expected to be a routine win turned into a rollercoaster, with the Spanish giants twice letting their lead slip in a game full of twists.
Despite flashes of brilliance in attack, Barcelona’s defensive fragility was once again exposed. Brugge’s high intensity and quick transitions constantly troubled the Catalan backline, leaving fans on edge until the final whistle.
For Hansi flick’s men, it was a performance that summed up their season so far — exciting going forward but worryingly inconsistent at the back. The draw leaves Barça with work to do if they are to stay in control of their Champions League group.
