Marcus Rashford has enjoyed a promising resurgence since arriving at Barcelona on loan, tallying three goals and five assists in just 10 appearances so far. His flair, pace, aerial ability and finishing with both feet have elicited praise from England coach Thomas Tuchel, who insists that the only limit for Rashford is the one he sets himself.
Yet the praise is tempered by caution: Tuchel has warned that potential alone is not enough. He demands greater consistency, insisting that Rashford must deliver more goals and assists at club and international level to truly solidify his status.
During England’s 5–0 rout of Latvia, Rashford came on late and showed signs of sharpness and intent, though few would argue he’s out of the woods just yet. Off the pitch, the forward has publicly reflected on the turbulence of his years at Manchester United, describing it as an “inconsistent environment” that impeded his progress.
In short: Rashford is rediscovering his spark but the challenge ahead is to maintain the flame.
