Despite the rapid integration of the digital realm with our daily lives, and the “anyone’s guess” Zeitgeist we find ourselves in, there is still some form of status quo that many would prefer to adhere to. Never mind that it’s built on the interests of massive companies siphoning money out of a rigged economy, or that this status quo changes every couple of months. We’re told it’s “in our best interest” to simply comply and not consider an alternative. Maybe that’s not the way to go.
