Beneath the moon’s soft silver gleam, Where silent waters gently stream, A lonely pine whispers ancient dreams Of mountain mist and starlit beams. Two travelers met at twilight’s fall, One young and bold, one weathered and small. They shared their bread beside a wall And spoke of journeys beyond the call. The elder spoke of love long lost, Of friendships forged through frost and thaw. The youth listened, his heart engrossed, Learning what years alone can teach us all. At dawn they parted ways...
