How many times have you heard this question, and how many times did no one care about the answer?
Probably if you are reading this article, deep down, you don’t feel at peace with yourself for some reason. Maybe it’s just a bad day, or maybe is something deeper. Everyone at some point has to deal with some kind of darkness. It’s the flow of life, up and downs. It couldn’t expect great memories if everything is always joyful. The negative part is just a normal consequence of living. Difficulties are necessary oftentimes to give us the opportunity to show ourselves how really resilient we are.
If you want to see all this from a new perspective, you could see all these as a huge opportunity for the change you always dreamt of. I know it sounds easier said than done, but at some point, you need to try new avenues. If you keep doing the same things you’ve always done, you will keep getting the same results. But keep in mind that change takes time, so don’t expect to live your dream overnight, instead, keep note of your achievements and the small improvements you make day in and day out. At the end of the year, that small improvements will make a huge difference and make you feel proud of yourself.
An excellent way to embrace this path is to be open to new experiences life presents you with. Start saying yes to things you have always avoided because scared you. Look at those things as a personal challenge and be grateful to have made it happen, because you will have a valuable lesson as a gift.
And last but not least, surround yourself with people that want the best for you and show you their support and love in any circumstance you are in. Avoid the ones who tell you what you should or you shouldn’t do without asking yourself your aspirations. Those ones will bring you into the void they are in, making you lose contact with your true self. Deep down you have always known what you wanted, and they can’t be a part of your new life anymore!
