Welcome to the weekly update email from Exploring Sobriety! In case you’re new here, my name is Benya, and I’m a recovered alcoholic who has been writing about addiction and recovery for the past four years. I write here on Medium and also have a weekly newsletter on Substack.
Each Monday, I send out this update email/post with links to all of my latest sobriety-related writing. I was out of town for the past week, so today’s email is going out a day late.
Since I was out of town, I also don’t have as much to share with you as usual, but I hope you’ll check out my recent newsletter:
How I Knew I Had a Drinking Problem — “Even when I finally got sober, I still wasn’t entirely convinced that I was an alcoholic. I had moments when I could admit to myself that I was an addict, but these moments were often fleeting.”
You can read the entire post here.
My Substack newsletter contains a mix of free and paid posts. If you enjoy the writing, please consider signing up for a subscription. Whether you sign up for a paid or free subscription, I sincerely appreciate the support! I keep the paid subscriptions as cheap as Substack allows, and they go a long way to helping me keep the newsletter going.
Thank you very much for reading! I hope you have a great week!
