We have reached the edge of the forest, and before us lies a vast and boundless ocean! In the marine world of ACE Animals, there are many mysterious creatures. These marine spirits have been dwelling and multiplying here for generations.

They have different levels of conservation status in the real world, ranging from Least Concern (LC), Conservation Dependent (CC), Near Threatened (NT), Vulnerable (VU), Endangered (EN), Critically Endangered (CR), Extinct in the Wild (EW) and even Extinct (EX). If there is not enough data to make an assessment of a species’ risk of extinction, its conservation status will be Data deficient (DD). The conservation status of an animal will not have any influence on its in-game performance.

In ACE Animals, each animal also has corresponding qualities that affect their numerical attributes in the game. The qualities range from low to high and are: N, R, SR, SSR, SP. Animals with higher qualities will bring more benefits and rewards to their friends!

Rina the Peacock Mantis Shrimp is a well-known boxer in the ocean, and her most famous achievement comes from successfully making Sunray the Spiny Turtle feel pain through its shell (the cost of that challenge was that she had to molt early to refurbish her fists). No one wants to mess with her because she always shouts, “Take a punch from me!”

Despite Rina’s irritable personality, Estella the Choriaster is happy to play with her. “I love playing boxing games the most!” Estella says. “Fighting with Rina is more exciting than arcade fighting games.” Rina also enjoys the boxing, “Estella is that kind of friends with whom I never have to worry about holding back, because even if I break one of his legs, he always grows a new one immediately!”

Eva the Chironex Yamaguchii always keeps a distance from her other animal friends. Her mysterious and beautiful image is admired by many marine creatures. However, what most of her animal friends don’t know is that, as one of the most venomous beings in the ocean, Eva is very afraid of accidentally harming her companions, hence the need for such distance. “Distance is the soul of beauty.”

Despite this, Mia the Hawksbill Sea Turtle is Eva’s good friend. She thoroughly enjoys the serene and safe moments spent with Eva. “Eva always makes me feel secure, and her presence is so calm,” she says. “The best part is, she can cook the most delicious food in this ocean!” Eva can’t help but chuckle at this — Mia believes that prey touched by Eva would have a unique flavor, but Eva sees nothing particularly special about it.
