I didn’t sleep well, woke up at 7. With 4 hours of sleep I was surprised that I couldn’t sleep more. I gave up and get up to wash up myself after a few tries.
It’s a work from home day and I have all the meetings in the late afternoon and evening. In theory I’m suppose to rest and do my own things during the day. I planned to practice guitar for my gig next week and get some sleep for evening.
If only I could execute as the plan. Yet my day was like a run-around trip from my desk and my bed. Sometimes I work a bit because it’s when I normally work, I don’t really have the mood to practice guitar. But then I remembered I have many meetings later today and now is the only time to rest, and I would jump to the bed, but then I couldn’t fall asleep so I would sit back to the desk.
It’s like you can’t control when to take a number two, even if you feel something. I was sleepy and tired, but I just can’t sleep because it’s not the time to sleep. Like having a jet lag. I watched Netflix a bit, listened to podcast a bit, but overall anxiety didn’t let me rest or do any of my personal things.
So I was resentful in the evening. Had to overdraft my energy to perform in the meetings, I hate working with international team!
