Peggy and I went to see an apartment today and now we are in a dilemma. It’s a bit more expensive than my current studio but much bigger and it’s near Green Park, which is one of my favourite areas in the city.
However, it’s a super old apartment. You can see it hasn’t been taken care of for a long time and most of the facilities are semi-damaged. It has a super low ceiling, ugly lamps, and the windows are small so the living room is dark.
Of course I can make some refurbishment myself, but it costs a lot to really make it comfortable, and it’s too much trouble to fix the low ceiling and small windows issues. Yet I love the location and the spacious rooms.
What should I choose? A better condition but smaller place, or a big bad one?
