Living with independence goes beyond being a choice for me; it is a passionate expedition of self-discovery and an affirmation of my unique identity. It grants me the freedom to delve deeply into my beliefs, values, and personal development. Is it a smooth path? Not at all. However, it is through the trials and tribulations of this journey that I hope to uncover my life's purpose.
"I am fully committed to overcoming obstacles and challenges I may encounter, which serves as a testament to my unwavering resilience. Why? Because I aim to prove to myself, as well as to others, that I am capable of creating a fulfilling and independent existence."
What is my ultimate objective? To stand tall, both physically and emotionally, regardless of the hardships I may confront.
The Struggle to Conform: A Glimpse into My Past
Picture me moving to Texas and residing in the same household. Sounds straightforward, doesn't it? However, here's the twist: I wouldn't be allowed to express my true self - my authentic self. I am gay, spiritual, and so much more. Yet, in previous times, any attempts to respectfully assert my individuality while still adhering to household rules were met with physical aggression.
"I cannot compromise my individuality; it is the very core of my being."
