Looking back at 2023, AGLD DAO has shown over the past year how much potential and dynamism a decentralized project can have. Thanks to the contributions and support of the community, AGLD DAO has been able to achieve many technical advancements and ecosystem expansion. We would like to express our deepest gratitude to the citizens of the Lootverse community, the builders of the Autonomous World, and the new users and players who have truly enjoyed being part of AGLD's journey for all these years.
Key Achievements
Loot Chain Deployment: We needed a foundation for our decentralized community to grow and thrive, so we partnered with Caldera to launch Loot Chain, a community-owned L2 blockchain. It became a central platform for NFT minting, gaming, and community activities, drawing in 170,000 active wallets and facilitating 3 million transactions, showcasing rapid adoption and engagement.
Technical Progressions: We deployed Loot Chain using the OP stack and built the bridge and other core features around it ourselves, which dramatically lowered the barriers and costs for the community to build projects. Our partnership with Layer Zero has been instrumental in streamlining the bridging of Ethereum NFTs, enhancing the user experience on the Loot chain. In collaboration with ARPA, we have notably improved our Random Number Generator (RNG) capabilities, a critical aspect for ensuring fairness in on-chain gaming. We also worked with STP to introduce AWNS, an ERC-6551-based on-chain identity, to the community.
Valuation Growth: The AGLD token itself achieved a significant milestone with 100% circulation and over 13,000 unique holders this year. Throughout the year, AGLD DAO has never stopped working to foster a decentralized ecosystem for the Lootverse and Web3 Gaiming sectors.The steady increase in the market price of the token, which is up over 450% in a year, and a fully diluted market capitalization of $110 million, shows that the project has strong market confidence.

The AGLD DAO updated its official website three times during the year, with the goal of making it an archive and social hub for the community to get what they want instantly.
Web3 Games : AGLD DAO is taking on the challenge of expanding the world of Loot and testing the possibilities of Web3 gaming. This year we released playable versions of Mighty Magic HEROES, Loot Craft, and have two more original games in the works.
Loot Console : The Loot Console is a bird's eye view of the Web3 games, NFT projects, and infrastructure tools within the AGLD ecosystem. There are currently two distinct consoles, and anyone can apply to have their project listed here.
Games Console: Users can browse AGLD DAO's own games and those of our partners, and try them out instantly in a web browser.
NFT Launchpad: A platform for launching and minting new NFT projects created on top of Loot Chain, as well as NFTs for use in Web3 games.
Bridges: We want our Loot Chain to be independent and sovereign, yet efficiently connected to the Ethereum ecosystem that underlies Loot. To this end, we have updated three types of bridges to maximize usability.
V1 bridge: uses polygons as a DA layer, allowing AGLD tokens to travel back and forth between Ethereum and Loot Chain.
V2 bridge: for stablecoins only, connecting Ethereum and Loot Chain directly.
Omni-NFT Bridge: wraps Ethereum NFTs and allows them to be used on Loot Chain.
Efforts to Build a Web3 Gaming & Autonomous World Ecosystem
2023 was the year of the Autonomous World, a decentralized world that exists entirely on-chain. With the vision of a self-sustaining theme of Loot, AGLD DAO released its manifesto, declaring its intention to be a pioneer in creating an ecosystem for AW and Web3 games.
Grant Program: We solicited proposals and ideas from the community through the Jokerace platform and awarded over $20,000 in ecosystem funding to the community. Thanks to this, we were able to secure on-chain games with innovative systems such as LLC and Gabbyworld.
Global Hackathon : In collaboration with Oasys, AWS, Ubisoft, ChainGuardians, and AAG, we co-hosted the “GameWave Genesis” hackathon, a significant event dedicated to Web3 game development innovation during Token2049. With a total prize pool of $42,000, the hackathon allowed AGLD DAO to discover eight project ideas designed for LootChain and meet numerous builders.
Offline Meetups: We hosted three offline meetups this fall, during KBW in South Korea and Token2049 in Singapore. Especially in Seoul we hosted the very first AW meetup with Ancient8, ARPA, STP, and Oasys, where we were able to host over 150 global builders.

The core value of the AGLD DAO is the value of the community, so we've been doing so many things to energize the community and share value. Here are some of the highlights for 2023.
Co-Campaign with Global Partners: Starting with the Learn-to-Earn metaverse event with 2ndblock, we co-organized community events with global projects such as Caldera, Fox Wallet, CARV, and DeSpread. These various community activities and events provided the AGLD community with opportunities to connect and have fun.
Web3 Game Festival : We continued to create opportunities to try out Loot Chain's games, such as Mighty Magic Heroes and Loot Craft, LLC.. The most recent Loot Craft event had over 30,000 total visits, generating nearly 100,000 on-chain activities.
Loot Town Hall : The Loot community periodically conducts town halls to bring news to Lootverse members around the world and address important issues. At October's Loot Town Hall meeting, AGLD DAO shared key developments and answered questions from the community.

Engagement Surge: Our community's strength is evidenced by 170,000 active wallets and 13,100 unique AGLD token holders. This indicates not just growth but a highly engaged and invested user base.
Gaming Adoption: Our in-house developed game, LootCraft, a voxel-type game, saw significant engagement with 22,500 gamers in its event week. The community response continued after the event, with over 32,000 additional visitors over the next six weeks, and in-game transactions nearly quintupling after the event. This was complemented by Mighty Magic Heroes, which attracted 11,000 users, showcasing our strong presence in the fully-on-chain gaming sector.
NFT Minting: We hosted three NFT minting events through our NFT Launchpad, with the Loot Genesis Badge and Lore for Adventurers successfully minted 1408 and 5000, respectively, and sold out in full. In addition, our recent minting, Technomagic Frens, successfully minted 2074 out of 5000.
Token Circulating Details: AGLD has been distributed to 7,800 holders of the 8,000 Loot NFTs, excluding the 200 founders' reserve, so the maximum supply is 78,000,000. By the end of 2023, our circulating supply reached 77,280,001 AGLD tokens. That's 99.1% of the total supply, meaning that all of them are in circulation, except for the ones that never moved or were burned.
