📅 October 14: Building Resilient Startups in Web3 with Granton

For our online event, we had an AMA with Deb Kocak, founder of Granton.io, who shared the patterns she’s observed after working with hundreds of startups over the past decade. Drawing on her experience watching companies rise and fall, Deb highlighted the real signals of success and the common traps that lead to failure.
She unpacked what separates resilient businesses from those that crumble, including:
Why strong intellectual property makes the biggest difference.
How chasing buzzwords (like Web3) without solving meaningful problems has cost companies millions.
The lessons learned from both the NFT boom and today’s market.
With Granton’s roots in Web3 consulting, Deb offered firsthand insights into how startups can either waste capital on hype-driven integrations or build enduring moats by focusing on genuine problems. She shared practical strategies for navigating volatile markets — from token launches and fundraising cycles to financial runway management.
It was a candid, insightful session on finding durable moats, spotting ideas worth pursuing, and building the confidence to thrive in a competitive startup landscape.
