I onboarded Lens on the 13th of January 2021. Until now, I have enjoyed spending my time there and discussing with the engaging community.
I like to use all of the apps listed below, and most of them have replaced apps I have been using daily before. Also, I would love to contribute to the apps growth, and this is one of the ways to do it.
Epoch 2
Variable fee for collect functionality. Monetization through collect is a great way to support frens that you enjoy following. A lot of people would love to support work from people they are following. People are different and not everyone can afford to pay the asked amount but they would love to contribute with how much they can. Also some creators can underrate or overrate their work, and suffer the consequences of a fixed collect fee. What I suggest is a flexible fee on collect, with an option to let the creator propose a default value and a clean and simple UI to allow user change that value easily and intuitively. If this is not what you had in mind with the collect button, then we could have a universal tip button? But that’s just another button in the UI doing similar thing to the collect button. Not sure.
Default values for post collect and mirror statuses. This varies a lot from app to app. On Lenster it varies from time to time for the same account. This should be much more universal.
Ability to create polls.

Indicator to show on which platform post/comment was sent
When putting a vertical video into a full screen mode, screen always maximizes horizontally, and then video content becomes smaller that on the preview
In DMs I can not lower the keyboard
Give users a choice to enable better image quality from settings. It can by default be set to prefer faster loading time
Messages reload on pull down in the notifications tab. Only the reloading indicator is missing.
Every time I logout and log in again, all my messages appear as unread, but they are not. Also messages that I’ve sent and did not receive the response yet are marked as unread.
Sometimes Orb just can’t refresh feed or notifications for a very long time. It seems to be happening when I’m using app for 10/20 minutes straight, but that might not have anything to do with it. I don’t know if this can be a Lens or Polygon problem. I have been also getting slow loads on Lenster from time to time.
When I remove post from bookmarks the image from that post still shows in the bookmarks preview.
Couldn’t find a way to remove bookmark collections. Even when they are empty I can not delete them.
Currently there is no way to pause the short. Mute button cold be cool too.
When I insert emoji inside chat the pointer goes to the beginning of the input field.

Add support for creating and showing markdown posts and comments.

Replace stock animations for loading with the respective animated versions of logos. Buttrfly can have its new butterfly logo move wings, and Orb can have an inner circle circling inside the bigger circle. This would give apps a personal touch.

Show at which time of a day people in general, people that are following you, people that you are following, and people with similar interests to your followers are active. Do it separately for each day. Also show how activity levels compare during the day for different days of the week.

When I open the post somewhere in the feed and go back, I get returned at the top of that feed page. What could be better is to return me to the place where I was before opening the post, so I can continue reading the feed. With current implementation, every time I open the post I need to scroll down again and search where I was the last time.
I’m not quite sure if this is Lenster or Lens or even Polygon problem. But from time to time, content(feed, notifications, post and comments) takes tens of seconds to load, and it normally loads super fast, in the matter of milliseconds.
When I open “Create post” dialog → insert a link →go to the beginning of the text input box → press enter/ctrl+enter/shift+enter the link always stays at the beginning of the text box.

When I open the image preview it takes 1/16 of my screen and it is barely visible. Take advantage of Lenter being used on desktops. Show a bigger image when clicked on. I would suggest always showing image, no matter the size of the screen, on around 70/80% of the browser window.

You could show the ens domain or lens handle in the upper left corner instead of the wallet address if any of those two are available. Also addition of the pfp to the left of the ens/lens name would be nice.
Adding profile switching functionality. Clicking on the pfp/name could trigger profile switching.
Having PFPs in the conversation. I saw that you’re already working on it :D
This is highly subjective, but I am not a fan of orange color for message bubbles :D
