Today, we’re excited to launch the Kits Publishing Tool allowing artists to monetize music they’ve made with their Kits by releasing NFT collections via the Sound.xyz protocol with Oohlala.
During Kits Season One, we noticed the power of asynchronous collaborations between Kit producers and Kit collectors. Whether Edwin and AL3C, TK and Oshi, or Kyle Billings and the entire Kits Season 1 Artist roster, Kits facilitated cosigns and placements for artists on Sound.xyz.
With Kits Publishing, asynchronous collaborations, cosigns, and publishing are now available to all Kits holders. Publishing and earning with Kits is easy:

Upload your track to Kits.io, connect and verify your use of your Kit
Configure and deploy your collection to the Sound.xyz protocol and earn instant payouts as your track is collected with Oohlala

AL3C’s On The Regular instrumental used the New Age Bedroom R&B Kit before being picked up by the original pack artist—Edwin—who added his own vocals and released the collaboration track on Sound.xyz.
Oshi and Toha created instrumental tracks using TK’s Eternal Garden Master Suite, and will have their tracks released on Sound.xyz with TK’s vocals.
Five days after our first Kit launch, Kyle Billings released a demo mix of the Season 1 Preview Pack on Sound.xyz via TK, using samples from every artist in the pack. It instantly sold out.
