Introducing Arrakis Liquid Staking Token (LST) Vaults

MEV-Aware Onchain Market Making for Token Issuers. DeFi’s first vertically-integrated liquidity solution.
Fremen Bi-Weekly is a content piece that you’ll see from us, surprise surprise, every 2 weeks. We’ll be updating the community about interesting conversations in the world of DEXs and liquidity provision, as well as sharing what Arrakis has been up to. If you would like to contribute or feel like you have an interesting article or tweet thread we should share here, feel free to drop it into our discord.
So let's begin.
@Earl_senor a research analyst looks into the world of LPing- from what LPing is to what the difference between passive and active LP management is and much more.
@0xShitTrader provides a dune dashboard around toxic order-flow. Toxic order-flow is when a market maker/liquidity provider provides liquidity at a loss, or sells their assets at a worse price than they should. We can’t be certain that this point is accurate because without knowing the LPs, we can’t know whether they are LPing purely for harvesting fees, or for dollar cost averaging purposes.
@HenryBitmodeth shares a Dune Dashboard he built to analyze pool data on Uniswap. You can simply input a pool address and the dashboard analyzes it!
This is the last time you will hear about Devcon from us. Although the team did not get to see too many talks live, Devcon was once again an amazing conference. We had back to back meetings with both existing and potential customers. Furthermore, we hosted the Arrakis x Uniswap event. Around 40 people from various protocols attended the panel discussion between Kassandra.eth, our reverend mother, and Mark and Alex from Uniswap. The discussion got spicy and was all about liquidity provision and the future of DEXs. unfortunately, it wasn’t recorded but fear not, we will soon do another one on Twitter Spaces.
The majority of the team was not at Devcon but hacking away on the code for V2 and PALM. The most exciting thing tech-wise was the deployment of PALM on Ethereum Mainnet where testing has now also started. The BD team has been hard at work as well and some governance proposals have been posted:
Uniswap Foundation gave the green light on providing OP incentives to Arrakis Vaults on Optimism.
After discussing with the Paladin team about being one of the Genesis House Participants, we posted a governance proposal. The vote on this is likely to be posted on Snapshot today.
We’ve been in talks with the team at Alchemix who will be posting a governance proposal to use an Arrakis Vault for alUSD/alETH. We will be joining their community call in their Discord on next Friday at 12:00UTC join us!
