We are all heartbroken by the crisis that continues to unfold in Ukraine. While I would encourage everyone to donate directly to charitable organizations or look into more specific ways to support, there are a number of compelling art auctions and photography print sales ending soon that are contributing to humanitarian aid. Below are some of my favorites.
Ends March 24
Participating artists: Daniel Shea, Coco Capitán, Rineke Dijkstra, Bogdan Shirokov, Sam Youkilis, Jamie Hawkesworth, Zhenya and Tanya Posternak and more.
Proceeds are going to World Central Kitchen, with participating artists having the option to receive 25% from the sale of their prints, which can be an important lifeline for photographers who remain in or are fleeing from violence in Ukraine.
Ends March 31
Participating artists: Lea Colombo, Chad Moore, Tina Tyrell, Oliviero Toscani, Sam Gregg, Felicity Ingram, Brianna Capozzi, Harley Weir, Quentin Debriey and more.
Proceeds are going to Kyiv’s Children’s Hospital (Ohmadyt) and the International Red Cross.

Print sales at the gallery will go directly to the NBU Humanitarian Assistance Fund.
The website has free artwork downloads donated by artists for you to share to advocate for peace, with an option to donate online to the National Bank of Ukraine Humanitarian Aid Account.

Participating artists: Angela de la Cruz, Jo Spence, Chitra Ganesh, Maya Balcioglu, Peter McDonald, Max Wade, Justin Liam O’Brien, Mary Webb, Sunil Gupta, Ebony G. Patterson, William Wegman, Laure Prouvost, LJ Roberts and more.
The project brings together over 70 international artists represented by galleries across UK and US to support Ukrainian Ministry of Health, The Red Cross Ukraine, Unicef Ukraine Relief and 280 Days Charity Fund, which is assisting expectant mothers and newborn babies affected by the conflict.
Print Drive for Ukraine Crisis Fund
Participating artists: Jack Davison, Daniel Arnold, Dom Marker, Hannah La Follette Ryan, Philip Montgomery, Sarah van Rij, Sam Youkilis and more.
Prints are being sold in open editions of 10 and are printed by Tribeca Printworks. 100% of profits are donated to Save the Children’s Ukraine Crisis Fund.
Donation submission ends March 25
Spilka is an independent collective of art, service and cultural workers based in New York City. They are collecting art until March 25 to donate for sale towards on-the-ground mutual aid efforts in Ukraine.
This database is dedicated to showcasing Ukraine’s top creatives for full-time or commission-based positions, aiming to keep the vibrant Ukrainian creative scene alive. They are also supporting these creatives with grants of €500–€3000 to cover legal and relocation expenses and help them find jobs.
