The Rise of Blus: A Nouns Movie continues to make inroads within the film festival circuit as it screens in Poznan, Poland during the Oscar Qualifying Animator International Film Festival. The retroactive grant funded ecosystem that continues to grow will inevitably be one that helps fund future festival content, but also serve as a discovery and recognition platform.

Would you say Oscar nominations are as much about press as Oscar awards? Wondering if we should be working to get Rise of Blus more press.
Would always love more press :) I think an award opens up different opportunities than a nomination Nominations are good for press and also adds a bit of traction to all future Posters / Cover images (you'll often see this on youtube cover images that showcase the awards / nominations a film or content has received) I do think now that there is a full "first act" of the film, there is more opportunity for director interviews / press stories that could be beneficial
I just mean mobilizing the Nouns community to help a Nouns film get an Oscar with clear steps seems like something we can do. I do not know how to get nominations but I’m very familiar with how to run an Oscar campaign. So if there was a way to help you get nominated we should do it. But it sounds like it’s linked to festival awards which we don’t have much sway over?
