Can you believe we’re already at the end of the year? It feels like it flew by in the blink of an eye. One moment, we’re setting goals, and the next, we’re wrapping everything up.

But instead of being shocked, here’s a better question: Did you actually achieve what you wanted this year?

Did you finish that project? Learn that new skill? Seize those opportunities? Put yourself out there?

Don’t tell us you didn’t accomplish anything you set out to do. Seriously, we won’t believe you. 😉

Okay, okay—no more grilling. But honestly, did you hit those goals?

Now, let’s get into the good stuff! We’ve got a lot to share, and trust us, it’s been a year full of exciting wins. No fluff, just real progress.

Here’s what we’ve been up to:

📍Partnered with Lisk 

One of the highlights of the year was partnering with Lisk. We hosted roadshows across three African cities—Nigeria, Accra, and Nairobi—with over 350 attendees. It was incredible to see how much awareness it brought to African builders and how many amazing products came out of those events.

📍Launched the Builders Hub 

We hit a major milestone this year by launching the AyaHQ Builder Hub in Ghana. This platform is all about giving African builders the tools, resources, and inspiration they need to build the next big thing. If you’ve ever wanted to make your ideas happen, this is where you get to do it. And stay tuned for 2025—we’re excited to announce the launch of a new Builders Hub in Kilifi, in partnership with Lisk!

📍Held the first ever builder-focused popped up city event in Africa, muAccra

We can’t forget the first dev-focused pop city event we hosted in the heart of Accra. Getting over 100+ builders co-living, co-creating, networking and learning. 

It will forever remain not just an event but an experience that brought together communities, onchain builders, and enthusiasts from various African countries.

Staying together to network, co-create, brainstorm ideas, and cultivate a new mindset among African builders!

📍Onboarded 1,349 users to AyaLabs, hosted 13 hackathons, engaged 810 builders, and supported hackathons for 7 communities.

We successfully onboarded 1,349 users to AyaLabs, hosted 13 exciting hackathons, and engaged 810 talented builders, while also supporting hackathons across 7 different communities. Some of the standout events were the muAccra and ETHSafari Hackathons, where over 50 innovative projects were created. We’re proud to say that many of these projects are not just concepts—they are now live and in the process of being incubated, with real-world potential and impact.

📍Launched the AyaHQ x Lisk Incubation Program

 Another big win? We kicked off the AyaHQ x Lisk Incubation Program. We had 116 applications from 10 different countries across Africa, and we’re now working with some of the brightest builders out there. These are the people who’ll shape the future of tech in Africa.

📍Hosted 12 Events at AyaHQ Builders Hub

We didn’t just stop there. We also organized 12 events this year—both in-person and virtual. Over 1,110 attended in person, and 500+ attended virtually. These events provided spaces for learning, sharing, and connecting, helping us bring even more value to the community

📍Attended Devcon 2024

This year, we had the chance to attend Devcon 2024, and wow, what an experience! It was amazing to connect with global builders and see firsthand the potential of what Africa can achieve on the world stage.

📍 Launched Velocit8

We launched Velocit8—something we’re really excited about. It’s a product that helps founders and startups take their ideas from concept to market-ready MVP in just 8 weeks. If you’re a founder, this tool is a game-changer.
