My Guest Voting Experience
Being a guest voter for Retro-funding was an eye-opener! From combing through docs to assessing projects and allocating OP tokens, here’s how I navigated the process, the challenges I faced, and insights for the future.Preparation and ResearchI began by reading through almost all documents related to RetroPGF from the initial seasons up to the most recent (Seasons 6 and 7). This preparation helped me develop:A more comprehensive understanding of Retro funding’s purpose and mechanics.Insights ...

30 million OP!!! yes, you heard that right, 30 million OP up for grabs in RetroPGF 3.0
Building for the public good has never been better than the @optimismFND RetroPGF… Rewarding builders for work done for the good of the collective and the public as a whole.
Let’s dive deep.
Want to know what Retroactive public good funding is all about, I implore you to read this piece… It contains all you need to know about RPGF and its’ previous rounds.
RetroPGF is a continuous experiment by the @optimismFND collective and each round comes with its own experiment. RetroPGF3 will focus on 4 main categories
OP Stack
Collective Governance
Developer Ecosystem
End User Experience & Adoption
More info in the image below👇🏽

One project I will love to see nominated in the RetroPGF 3 is Dzap. DZap is a new decentralized platform that aims to deliver a breakthrough in user experience in DeFi trading.

They fall into the end User Experience & Adoption nomination category.
What are Dzap's core features?
Batch Swap - This lets you swap multiple tokens for one in a single transaction
Auto DCA - This lets you auto-buy or auto-sell tokens periodically.

Its’ goal is to “Unify multi-step processes in DeFi into one”.
I believe they deserve to be nominated because users will be able to swap multiple tokens in one and vice versa on OP mainnet. Users can also auto-DCA their favorite tokens on OP mainnet. This will bring active users into the Optimism ecosystem.
Dzap also aims to decentralize as a self-developed community. This will bring about governance practice and help to prevent the project from being affected by the plutocracy often found in most DeFi projects.
DZap’s business model is to return more from transaction volume for the users, by looking for profitable trades and automatically switching to more advanced features.
Dzap will also not support tokens whose contracts are not audited, are classified as scam tokens, or have untradable liquidity In order to make the ecosystem optimum and away from unregulated trades… This act also protects its users in terms of security.
That’s all about Dzap for now.
I will love to see Dzap in the Optimism ecosystem and if you need some guidance onboarding your project into the ecosystem, you can always reach out to me 🤗
