Let’s Embark on another journey to elevate your digital reputation! 🌟 The #OptimisticAlpha brings you another fusion of on-chain and off-chain activities that can boost your reputation and reward your contributions. Join the revolution where your actions are recognized and celebrated. 🌐
This week we’re looking into the following projects; 👇🏽
1. @optimismFND Airdrop #3 announcement
Optimism Foundation announced the OP token airdrop 3 earlier this month, allocating 19,411,313 OP tokens to 31,870 unique addresses. The purpose of the drop is to reward your positive participation in Optimism governance.
Note: Allocations were directly sent to eligible wallets, with no need to claim tokens from any website.
Wondering what the eligibility and cutoff criteria were? Here are they;
Reward Types and Criteria
Governance Delegation Reward: Given to addresses with delegated OP tokens above a minimum threshold, max 10,000 OP per address.
Voting Delegate Bonus: Awarded to addresses delegated to delegates who voted on-chain at least once, max 10,000 OP per address.
Cutoff Criteria
Addresses with fewer than 18,000 Cumulative Delegated OP were not eligible (9,000 for those delegated to a voting delegate).
Addresses delegated for less than 7 days were ineligible.
Known delegation program wallets were not eligible.
Each reward type had a maximum reward limit of 10,000 OP per address.
What does this mean?
To qualify for the airdrop, you must have met the above criteria, and governance participation by you or the delegate must have been done before the snapshot date (January 20, 2023, to July 20, 2023).
A small set of delegation activities not included in Airdrop #2 was added to this allocation, resulting in 341 additional addresses.
