Exciting news for all you OP Stack contributors out there! Round 5 is here!
If you're applying for Round 5 of the OP Stack, here's what you need to know. This round is all about rewarding meaningful contributions to the OP Stack and its key components. Whether you're working on Ethereum Core, OP Stack research and development, or tooling, there’s a place for your project.
Here’s the lowdown:
Deadline: The deadline to apply is September 5 at 19:00 UTC. Even after you apply, you can make edits until the deadline. Just remember to republish your metadata on-chain if you do.
Who’s Eligible? If you’ve made an impact between October 2023 and August 2024, you’re in the game! But it’s all about focus—your project should fit into one of these three categories: 👇🏽
Ethereum Core Contributions: If you’ve been building the backbone of the OP Stack, this is your lane. Think infrastructure, smart contract languages, or core Ethereum development.
OP Stack Research & Development: For those who’ve been innovating and upgrading the OP Stack itself, whether it’s through research, new features, or security audits.
OP Stack Tooling: If you’ve created tools that make working with the OP Stack easier, from testing infrastructure to documentation, this category is for you.
A Few Rules to Keep in Mind:
Be honest about your work—no false claims or promises.
No hateful content, fraud, or bribery.
Make sure you pass KYC, and keep your application in English.
Spam and duplicate entries? Those will get you disqualified in a flash.
