An old French book shows us a map of a dug out town called Kaminiek. Back then it was part of Poland, now part of Ukraine and named Kamianets-Podilskyi. The map clearly shows the town is dug out. Another map in the same book shows tiny islands as part of an island complex which is not shown on current maps. Islands were simply erased from the face of the Earth.
