69 Ideas for Farcaster Frames now live as a frame πΌοΈ amazing speed by @colin & @paragraph team to ship this update π¬οΈ π¨ π₯
π«‘
π β¨ π π¨ π π₯
what is happening when I hit the next button? I am assuming it is a button with action, does that mean that a different route is triggered to generate the frame response?
if I understand you are asking about the βRead Inlineβ and then the next button which adds more text after each press? That is just showing the article line by line. This one is 69 ideas, so it goes through each idea. Hope that helps?
I think I subbed? π π«‘
Amazing!
Thank you π«‘βοΈ
ok I'll stop will just privately cast all the other ideas to my apple note
or add them as comments on @paragraph here: https://paragraph.xyz/@bashobits/69-ideas-for-farcaster-frames
Most people donβt understand what itβs like to have a firehose of ideas π‘
wtf donβt stop donβt cater to a single persons preference there is an unfollow button anyone can press if they donβt want to see the content
mike it was a joke π€£ π come on, we're homies
what is not a joke is that you sold your Farcaster OG NFT a while back π«’ shout out to @paulcowgill for the /onceupon frame
seriously tho
tl;dr for me why you think Farcaster Frames will be so powerful
interactive inline content mixed with verifiable creds
they multiply https://paragraph.xyz/@bashobits/69-ideas-for-farcaster-frames
The social meets the value layer https://warpcast.com/kindness/0xa3b09f44
The day the client became a platform.
βframes turn casts into interactive appsβ just one illustrative example: ticker frames could allow you to view charts and buy tokens within a social context. itβll take some time before it really gets good imo. but having a social layer coupled with other cases make farcaster a lot more powerful
Discord bots are good enough that Midjourney built a unicorn (? or close to it) with no other interface. Frames are similar, but the user interactions are cryptographically verifiable. Reducing friction to a userβs first interaction with your product is huge.
hubs make the data layer open frames make the client layer open the walls of the garden come tumbling down
The way I am seeing it, it just ain't about the tip, it is about the entire iceberg. The decentralized identity of a Farcaster user means something (unlike a Twitter username) onchain - ownership of NFTs, attestations, votes, etc. It is an entirely new design space for curated engagement with least friction for user.
Unlocks shift from passive to active consumption, less clicks to actions Somewhat analogous to potential of Telegram mini apps but with more cryptonative developer mindshare building these experiences that can more uniquely leverage benefits of crypto https://docs.ton.org/develop/dapps/telegram-apps/
it runs doom https://warpcast.com/cassie/0xc329ea28
bullish
Inspired by the β‘οΈπ¨ progress with Farcaster Frames, here are 69 ideas to explore https://paragraph.xyz/@bashobits/69-ideas-for-farcaster-frames
and of course i dunno how to turn this into a frame yet so hopefully i can figure that out soon π€
