HDP has been developed over 40 years, to include the head, the hands and most importantly the heart, to help all life flourish.
Living the last decade as a forest monk, watching the green fuse lit each spring and the great energy move through the warming soil to ignite the trees to leaf, there is a powerful sense of homecoming.
In very recently reconnecting with the world online, the developing web3, especially ReFi, and yesterday’s Merge, there is also that sense of a fuse having been lit and an energy spreading out globally to ignite new hope.
There is a way deep down things, the ongoing pulse of energy that weaves the world whole, to which we have so long been blind. It is all too easy to label this as “good” that as “bad” (or even “evil!”), yet such labelling reduces the possibilities alive in the moment, the potential of the great energy that courses not just through the natural world but through us too.
Despite technological progress having scarred the face of the earth over these last decades, it is easy to forget that it is this same technology that today lets us see just what we have done and, in seeing, begin to put things right.
When we pause for breath, take a step back out of the headlong rush of the busy world, this seeing affects our being that affects our doing - we need to find space in our lives to give time to seeing clearly, for how otherwise are we to know what to be and do?
Bastarra is an opening community online and IRL that seeks to promote the ever deeper seeing that reconnects us all with the ever ongoing flow of energy that makes this planet thrive with life. For, and its easy to forget this with the daily media full of stories of ecological loss, that although we have already lost so much, so much yet remains.
Here in the regenerating forest of mixed oaks and beech, with views to the Pyrenees and the Mediterranean Sea, we hope to build connections, to create a global community that recognises the intimate connections we all share with each other and all life worldwide - you’d be very welcome to join us.
