Russian President Vladimir Putin and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un hugged as they left Beijing, China, on Wednesday (3/9/2025).

Previously, they had met while attending a large military parade in Beijing, China, to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II.

After the parade, Kim and Putin traveled in the same car to a state guesthouse for private bilateral discussions.

When all was done, Kim and Putin finally shook hands and embraced before parting ways to return to their respective countries.
