Ingress — When a planet shifts in the sky into a new zodiac sign from its previous sign.
We have just started Virgo Szn and right off the top we had August 27th’s New Moon in Virgo. Right before that we have Mercury, the ruler of Virgo ending its transit-
Transit — A planet cruising along through a zodiac sign degree by degree (from 0–30)
-in it’s own sign and shifting into the sign of Libra as it slows down over the 2 weeks for a retrograde on September 9th. Yeah, another retrograde. We’ve already been feeling the shadow of this Mercury retrograde sneaking in as early as August 21st at 24 degrees Virgo. Honestly, I can’t help but to think the stars are glitching out right now. Since these are both Air signs, there is a heavy emphasis on where our minds are at right now. How are we doing mentally, and a demand to slow down yet remain flexible with the current state of things. Whenever we have strong Air energy like this, it’s very important to rid yourself of any distractions, especially since there will be an increase of it. This Mercury RX (or Retrograde) is shaping up to be really constructive and even, dare I say…welcoming. The vibe check is particularly lengthly than normal due to the RX and it seems like we’re checking in on how we’ve been aligning with our new reality, and looking at any areas that could use some improvement. Interesting how Virgo energy always seems to reintroduce us to our blind spots.
The new moon on the other hand is exactly square Mars. As you may have seen me preach on multiple occasions, we are pretty much in the Age of Aquarius now, so it’s times like this where we get a little exam and you could say this one is going to be a bit challenging. However, with the ruler of the New Moon, Mercury, going into the intellectual and balanced sign of Libra before the midterms, it may bestow us with 9 lives so even if we do fall off the tightrope, we just might land on our feet with grace. Here is your double Hypr’scope in true Mercury fashion. (Heh, Mercury rules doubles and Libra rules fashion, how did that fly off my fingertips?)
