CROSS THE AGES is a dynamic universe in which fantasy and science fiction come together and clash. It is more than a gaming application for collectible cards; it is a comprehensive dystopian Universe where fantasy and science fiction meet, creating a unique experience for players to build bridges between multiple worlds.

The vision is to marry the virtual world with the physical world by allowing players to not only hold digital and NFT assets, but to be able to bring them to life and into the physical world.

Cross The Ages is a collectible card game based on the rich and exciting universe of the "Cross The Ages" saga. The objective is to create the best strategy to conquer and control the maximum space within the battle Arena.

Each player starts the game with a collection of 20 digital cards. Ten cards are then randomly selected and form the player's deck.

In the metaverse world of Cross the ages, there are three different types of tokens: Crystals/ Gold/ CTA.

● Crystal: In-game tokens

Crystals are required for all ‘off-chain’ in-game activities. The tokens have the usual in-game utilities such as buying card packs and skins, buying or unlocking booster packs and minting cards into NFTs. It can be exchanged into the CTA Tokens at the then-current exchange rate within the in-game marketplace.

● Gold: in-game tokens

It has a direct utility of defeating bots and ensures fairness of the game for the players which can not be traded.

● CTA: governance token

CTA token is required for all ‘on-chain’ activities which is a tradable (coming soon). It provides access to off-series valuable NFTs, special access to tournaments and access to exclusive content. There are two scenes where CTA is required in the process of gameplay:

1. CTA Tokens are required for minting and merging of NFTs as well as printing NFTs into the physical NFC cards, buying or unlocking booster packs.

2. CTA Tokens are required to enter Guild competitions and tournaments.

3. Off-chain merging of the digital cards in-game requires Gold. On-Chain merging of the NFTs requires CTA Tokens.

The total supply will be 1,000,000,000 CTA tokens to be minted with no possibility for future inflation. The tokens will be distributed to the following stakeholders.

The CTA's locking model is similar to that of SHRAPNEL. But the proportion is totally different. All tokens are subject to lock-in and vesting periods. Tokens will be distributed in a linear manner over time, based on the round of investment where CTA Tokens were obtained.

The NFTs have a specified limited time frame for minting from digital cards. Once the next collection of cards is available, minting of the previous collection will no longer be possible.

This will incentivise the players to mint NFTs and build buy pressure so that NFTs increase in value over time. There are 2 NFT collections per annum, each of 145 cards per collection.

NFTs - minting NFTs from digital cards as well as merging NFTs creating more rare and valuable NFTs. Players can also lend their NFTs to other players, thus earning CTA Tokens. NFTs can also be bought and sold for CTA Tokens within the marketplace.

NFT Release Cadence

In presale sessions on April 5, Cross the ages began its first NFT release.The floor price of premium pack was 61 MATIC. Cross the Ages will now be hosting a minting presale every week, on Fridays 18:00 CET until 1 week prior to the game early access official date. The maximum supply limit of packs is:

– Standard Packs: 2 000

– Premium Packs: 18 000

The total volume (2.8K items) that has been traded reached 39.8 ETH (around $ 112,767) with the floor price 0.064 ETH（around  $181）, which is about $100 higher than the first round of sale.

Unlike other games, Cross the Ages also features card security——NFC.

NFC Cards – printing of NFC cards from NFTs. Once the NFC is printed, the NFTs will be frozen as digital card. NFC - physical collectible cards are encoded with near-field communication technology (NFC) connected to a smart contract on the blockchain. This will verify and validate ownership and possession of each particular card and prevent counterfeiting of physical cards.

As we have talked about above, CTA Tokens are required for minting and merging of NFTs as well as printing NFTs into the physical NFC cards, buying or unlocking booster packs.

After the NFT is printed into the NFC card, those NFTs are frozen within the game and can no longer be printed into NFCs.

Cross the Ages has a large number of community followers, with the most user media outlets being INS with 236K and Twitter with 91.8K. However, the main front of community activity is Discord with 33359 followers, where game information and player exchanges are interacted.

In the meantime, there are diversified activities, such as AMA, irregular giveaway. There is one thing to mention that community members' questions are not answered in a timely manner.

Cross The Ages is  invested by many excellent and powerful companies  including UBISOFT, Animoca, etc., Ubisoft was the third largest indie game developer in 2008 in Europe and the fourth independent publisher in North America. Therefore Investors led by Ubisoft will bring a lot of confidence to the development of Cross the ages. In general, the investment is relatively stable, and relatively optimistic about this project.
