Introduction

Built on the Solana network, CRYOWAR is a Free-to-Play cross-platform real-time multiplayer PVP arena NFT game developed in Unreal Engine 4. The team aims to create a multi-blockchain Medieval Metaverse without boundaries. Players will engage in fierce battles of skills to protect their realms and gain tremendous rewards such as resources, territories, world domination, and so on.

Gameplay

Players are given a choice of heroes to pair them, customize their powers, and adjust their own playstyle. Cryowar has a skill-based gampley, and provides the players with 9 main game modes. At the start of every match, CRYOWAR randomly cycles through a pool of level objectives changing on the fly. Players need to be prepared to instantly adapt to whatever the game throws at them. Each round lasts for about 3 minutes. 

Tokenomics

Allocation

$CWAR is the utility token of the CRYOWAR gaming ecosystem at large. A total of 1,000,000,000 CWAR tokens are minted in order to facilitate a sustainable in-game economy. The token can be used to buy NFTs (such as skins), and virtual land plots. The CWAR token is also set to be the official currency to buy tournament tickets in Cryowar.

The following figure is the detailed allocation info of CWAR. Notably, staking and rewards take up 45% of the total supply, which serves as a great incentive for its players to get involved in the game. 

Unlock Cycle

As illustrated in the following figure, the selling price of CWAR at Seed Round, Private Round, and Public Sale are $0.014, $0.018, and $0.028 respectively. 

CWAR is 10% unlocked at TGE in the Seed Round and Private Round, while 20% unlocked at TGE in Public Sale with the rest 80% a monthly linear vesting for the next 6 months. Thefore, the percentage of token unlocking at TGE is realatively low. The current market price (by 2022/5/12) of CWAR sits at around $0.047.

In public sale, the total funding amount was $620,000. The number of CWAR on sale was 22.9 million, of which 4.58 million was unlocked at TGE. The total earning was around 9 million, which gives the holders a 1452% return at best.

Burning Mechanism

   The team will also implement several deflationary techniques in order to keep the game economy stable, such as token burns. CWAR tokens will be burned through various methods, including in-game marketplace and tournament buy-in fees, with the added benefit of attracting new players and hyping the release of new gaming content.

Staking

Players are able to earn a certain percentage of rewards by staking $CWAR. The team provided holders with two pools to choose from. 

Cryowar Gold Pool: 4 months lock period. Participants will receive a variable APY with high incentivised rewards: airdrop for first believers in terms of NFTs + small chances for random rewards.

Cryowar Diamond Pool: 12 months lock-up period. Participants will receive a variable APY with high incentivized rewards: airdrop for first believers in terms of NFTs + randomized rewards in terms of Skins, and 3rd party rewards.

NFT Introduction

There will be various NFTs in Cryowar. All of the NFTs are still being worked on by now. It is expected that skin NFTs can be anticipated after the delivery of the NFT lands and open Beta.

Community

As a project with a relatively large fan base, its member engagement doesn’t really follow through. Although its mods answer members’ questions timely, there simply just aren’t many interactions going on in its Discord and Telegram community. With an average likes and comments that rounds up to less than 250, the same situation applies to its Twitter posts.

Investors and Team

The Dev team behind Cryowar are professionals in game design, blockchain development, security, cloud infrastructures and networking with more than 20 years experience. Some big names in the blockchain industry can also be found in its partner list, Animoca Brands, Polygon, for example.
