Hey there,
Let me be honest about something I have been wrestling with.
There’s this one task I have been meaning to finish for weeks.
Every time I sit down to tackle it, I freeze like a picture.
Not because I don’t know how to do it…
But because of how big it feels.
So, I end up doing the usual:
Overthinking.
Tweaking irrelevant details.
Telling myself I’ll “start fresh tomorrow.”
How did I find myself here? The more I waited, the heavier the task got. All along i keep failing to realize nobody is coming to save me. I simply have to find my way.
Luckily for me, not long ago, I stumbled on quote from a book I was reading titled Building a Second Brain by Tiago Forte that made so much sense:
"You don’t need more time. You need a smaller task."
That was the eye opener for me, and I realized:
The problem was not the size of the task—it was the fact that I hadn’t broken it down.
So, I took a step back, cut it into small, clear steps I could do in under 30 minutes to 1 hour.
And boom— the momentum I needed.
It wasn’t magic. It was just clarity + small action.
That same mindset is what we are building into everything we do at Blockfuse Labs.
Whether it is:
Helping devs go from Web2 to Web3,
Creating step-by-step bootcamp modules,
Or writing content that simplifies what looks complex…
We are not chasing big wins. We are stacking tiny ones.
And I wanted to share this with you because maybe you have been sitting on something too.
An idea. A goal. A project that feels “too big.”
Here is the reminder:
Break it down.
Shrink it.
Take one bite today.
Because the tasks keep piling—whether you act or not.
And if you give it something some time to work with every day… it adds up in ways that will surprise you.
This has helped me to achieve my goal short-term and long-term goals respectively.
I hope you found this helpful.
Enjoy the new week!
