I briefly want to introduce myself before I start putting out more content (procrastinating for years now). Incase you don’t reach the end, here’s a compilation of all my links - https://linktr.ee/blocknoob
I come from a technology world (Software Engineering) and have been passionate about disruptive innovation, emerging technology, investing, and philosophy. This Twitter thread from @vivianegbr covers some introduction as well https://twitter.com/vivianegbr/status/1535339016190574592
The world of pseudonyms wasn’t new to me (especially if you come from a gaming background), but I challenged myself to think of a new one for the world of blockchains. I am a big believer in lifelong learning, and I often try to humble myself by saying that ‘I know nothing’, IMHO, that’s the only way you keep pushing boundaries and become a perpetual learner v/s thinking that you’re an expert. Thus the name blocknoob : block* stands for blockchain *and noob stands for a relatively inexperienced individual.
I’ve been following crypto since 2014, but it was mainly theoretical. I didn’t start investing until 2017 and saw my net worth go 10x and come back crashing within months. Post that, I was always passively investing, developing using solidity here and there in hackathons but was mainly hands-off. HODLing all the while until late 2020/early 2021. Always a believer of the ecosystem though.
I didn’t start looking into NFTs until the late 2020s at the tail end of DeFi season. Bought my first NFT on Feb-03-2021. It was Hashmasks #5047. Rest is history.

First three buys were Hashmasks and first few flips were Hashmasks too ( I had come in from an investing mindset and also to learn more about the underlying technology )

Joined Twitter in March 2021. It was evident that NFTs were here to stay, and given that it was all about community, one had to have a presence on Twitter and Discords. The first few tweets are shown below -

This was very brief. I plan to write more about my journey, the art I’ve collected, why I have collected it, general observations about the space and its future, my plans, etc.
Thank you for reading it if you made it this far. Looking forward to sharing a lot more in coming days, weeks and years.
