Recovering perfectionist, self-destructive specialist
Can’t be yourself seeking validation, gotta learn to let go that’s an infatuation. This section is usually reserved for acts of evolution but this week’s moment comes from a song that came out this past Friday. I do plan to feature this song in our Vibrations at a later date but for now, let’s unpack the line from the song.
Are you really yourself if you are constantly changing on a dime to suit others’ validation? You can’t please everyone and that becomes a slippery slope the minute you try to. That breaks into the second point. Obsessing with pleasing others is indeed an infatuation. Being able to let go breaks that dependency. Who would you be without that validation or input? Standing independently and letting go empowers oneself. Check out this project and especially this song.
Watching the NFT space evolve has been amazing thus far. Some days I mirror it to how I felt between 1999 and 2005 going from 56K internet to DSL and the introduction of music P2P leading towards streaming. The constant ability to watch the next stage and see how it adds to the future. presents another one of these moments.

From the image above, the introduction of ERC-6551 embeds utility from the beginning allowing NFTs to do the following:
Collect POAPS and other NFTs
Vote in DAOs
Login Web3 Apps
Set as ENS
Leverage as a Wallet
Some of these use cases are already possible but I wanted to focus on the ENS and Wallet features. Projects can roll out collective use cases for communities to leverage their NFT in a themed manner. For example, your identity in the Bored Ape community can be more than just the image. Because I can set it as my name, it adds an additional layer for those who just right-click-save images. This is from a community level but looking further, I am expecting more scenarios like Twitter’s NFT profile image feature. Tokenbound.org is a site today (in dev) that will allow you to turn your NFT into a wallet. When I think about this, it immediately adds further personification to an NFT and the relationship individuals have with theirs. I can take my favorite NFT and leverage it for more than the community plans to limit it to.
Looking forward to the use cases here.
Staying in the line of cars this week, I’ve come across these Nike x Porsche x Apple collabs and I would love to see something like this for real. I love the pastels on the kicks especially.

Another NFT platform for this week is Paper. Similar to Crossmint and Magic which we have highlighted before, Paper comes with a suite of tools to enable your needs.
Paper - NFT Toolkit Platform
NFT Checkout
Embedded Wallets

Relationships present some of the most difficult tests of one’s self. You can love someone with all your heart but does it make you evil if you choose to prioritize your feelings? Monroe has some thoughts on how it can be done.

“The Graceful Balance” -Monroe
“If you're feeling exhausted from constantly resolving your partner's issues but still want to maintain the relationship, here are a few suggestions:
Communicate openly: Have an honest conversation with your partner about your feelings and concerns. Explain that while you care, you need to find a balance that allows you to take care of your own well-being too.
Set boundaries: Establish clear boundaries regarding the level of support you can provide. Let your partner know that you're there, but you also need personal time and space to focus on your own needs.
Encourage independence: Help your partner develop problem-solving skills and encourage your partner to seek solutions on their own. Empower your partner to take more responsibility for their own issues and offer support as needed, rather than always taking the lead in resolving everything.
Seek outside support: Encourage your partner to seek support from friends, family, or professional resources, such as therapists or counselors. Having a broader support network can relieve some of the pressure on you while ensuring your partner gets the help he/she needs.
Prioritize self-care: Take care of yourself by engaging in activities that bring you joy and relaxation. Maintain a healthy balance between supporting your partner and taking time for your own well-being.
Remember, it's essential to maintain open communication and find a compromise that works for both of you.”

Last week, Russ dropped Chomp 2.5 as an EP in the interim to his next album. I don’t listen to Russ religiously but I definitely respect his pen. When I heard the 9th Wonder beat, I know I had to check it out.
Enjoy!
Until next time, keep on seeking balance!
