The Ultimate Potential of Overcoming Your Fears
Last week I announced that I am writing a book. If you didn’t catch that post, head on the back one week. For inspiration, I will be using this segment to write about the lessons I uncover from Lewis Hamilton’s Masterclass on a “Winning Mindset”. This plays well with the theme of evolution so for the next 12 weeks, let’s go on this journey together.
Week 1 - Ignite your Passion
What do you love to do?
Find your Superhero
Family, friends, etc.
What about them inspires you?
Do your talking on the track
Lead by Example
Show and Prove
Turn the hate, and noise into positivity
Face your fears
Be a fighter
On the other side of fear, there is so much potential
Continually challenge yourself
Have a competitive spirit
Never settle
Never Give Up mentality
Keep moving forward
Even if you fail, it’s still part of the journey process and it requires you to keep going
EASPORTS has entered the building. After recently selling over 106K virtual sneakers, this week Nike announced that DOTSWOOSH products will be available to be used in the EASPORTS ecosystem. They didn’t mention which games will be applicable but this is a great first partner to announce.

Where I see this going:
Virtual Goods Marketplace - I had the opportunity to be at the first stop when Nike was on their DOTSWOOSH tour. During that session, they mentioned a marketplace and virtual studio to be on the roadmap. These moves are a sign of things to come.
A new ecosystem for monetization - What started as a DOTSWOOSH address, collectors that purchased the OF1 Boxes will be able to access the 3D files in July. As highlighted in the previous point, the customization of these files can then be monetized in the marketplaces and all throughout other parts of the Nike ecosystem.
Interoperability - Because these are Nike assets, they can start to sit as the middle man between the community creators and the ability to spread their reach into markets (games and mediums) that Nike has their hand in.
I’m looking forward to what’s to come. So far, I have all of the NFTs released under DOTSWOOSH so I plan to keep it that way.
This week’s selection is the Teyana Taylor “A Rose From Harlem” Jordan collection. I’m a big fan of Teyana’s creative direction and this collection is another example of this. Below are the sneakers but there is also a jacket and jumpsuit that she designed. Check them out!

I came across this platform back in November when it was first launched as The 402. Rebranded as Hypeshot, they have recently added some new features.
Hypeshot - Ability to distribute NFTs via Streaming. They launched a new feature that allows viewers to create clips and have them minted by other fans as well. Conceptually, this opens up the economics of a stream and the moments that are generated. I’ll dive into this later but check it out in the meantime.
Phoenix Ash, the queen of growth mindstate, is here to share her story about a Blue and Red rose that grew from the concrete. She wrote this to serve as a metaphor for the idea of growing in resilience and surviving the story. In times like now, we need notions like this more than ever. Check out the story below.

“Blue and Red Roses from the Concrete” Phoenix Ash
“Once upon a time, in a city known for its cold and unforgiving environment, there was a forgotten corner where the concrete seemed to dominate everything in sight. In this desolate place, where life struggled to take root, a tiny crack emerged in the sidewalk. Within that crack, a remarkable transformation was about to unfold.
Unbeknownst to anyone, a passerby dropped a small packet containing two rose seeds, one blue and one red. As fate would have it, the seeds fell into that narrow crevice, finding a sliver of soil and moisture deep within the concrete jungle.
Days turned into weeks, and beneath the surface, the seeds began to awaken. The blue and red seeds, fueled by determination, sent their tiny roots downward, searching for nourishment. Slowly, they absorbed every trace of moisture and nutrients they could find in their constrained space.
Against all odds, the first signs of life appeared. Tender green shoots pushed their way up, reaching toward the scarce sunlight. With each passing day, they grew stronger, their stems elongating and leaves unfurling.
As the blue and red roses grew side by side, their struggle to survive mirrored their contrasting hues. The blue rose represented tranquility, grace, and the calmness of the human spirit, while the red rose embodied passion, love, and the fiery determination to overcome obstacles.
The city dwellers, often consumed by the daily chaos, eventually noticed these resilient flowers emerging from the concrete. They were captivated by the vibrant colors and the symbolic message they conveyed. People would gather around the crack in the sidewalk, marveling at the beauty and strength of the blue and red roses.
News of the miraculous flowers began to spread throughout the city. The sight of these roses growing against all odds inspired people from all walks of life. The tale of the blue and red roses became a beacon of hope, reminding everyone that even in the harshest circumstances, beauty can flourish.
Driven by the significance of this extraordinary event, the city decided to embrace and protect the roses. A small garden was constructed around the crack in the sidewalk, allowing the flowers to thrive and grow freely. The garden became a sanctuary, a symbol of the human spirit's ability to find solace and strength in the most unlikely places.
The blue and red roses continued to bloom year after year, touching the hearts of all who encountered them. They reminded the people of the power of resilience, love, and the indomitable spirit that resides within each person.
Generations passed, and the story of the blue and red roses remained etched in the city's collective memory. The garden that once stood as a hidden gem in the concrete became a cherished landmark, attracting visitors from far and wide.
The tale of the blue and red roses transcended its origin and grew into a timeless legend, reminding people everywhere to never lose hope, to celebrate diversity, and to find beauty amidst the harshest circumstances. And so, the blue and red roses served as a testament to the transformative power of love, resilience, and the ability to bloom wherever life may place you.”

Taking this week’s vibes over to London town with this track from Children of Zeus. I first heard this track during a Soulection episode. Their entire album, Balance is fire. Check it out!
Enjoy!
Until next time, keep on seeking balance!
